Thank you again to everyone involved in such an amazing project!

What Are the Community Conversations?

The Community Conversations were the second form of public engagement and data gathering that Impact Monterey County has been conducting throughout the County since the end of June 2014.  The Community Conversations involved:

  • 5-10 people gathering in a relaxed, inviting setting – a home, workplace, church or neighborhood center
  • 90 minutes of discussion about participants’ aspirations for our community’s quality of life – What kind of community do you want?
  • Questions focused on aspirations in the areas of health, education and financial stability
  • IMC provided a facilitator and a note-taker for each Community Conversation
  • Individual names and personal information are not shared as part of results
  • Conversations took place in English or Spanish through November 30, 2014
